Kate Norris is the owner and face behind Foxgloves & Folly. Whilst Kate has always had a yearning for all things green and flowery, she has spent rather too many years working as a corporate lawyer in London! After a spell in LA and undertaking a floristry course with the globally renowned florist, McQueens, she decided to take a chance and pursue her passion for flowers. After spending a couple of years combining both law and floristry, Kate was ready to take the leap into floristry full time. This, in conjunction with her love of LA, was the beginning of Foxgloves & Folly!
Kate is inspired by the natural beauty of flowers and plants. Her flower arrangements emphasise a natural, loose, asymmetrical style with lots of greenery and texture, reflecting the movement and placing of flowers in the wild. Kate is very much influenced by her English background and specifically, the many years she has spent living and working within London. This brings a cool and edgy vibe to Kate's arrangements, reflecting itself in the free flowing and asymmetrical style of Foxgloves & Folly's products. Kate places the upmost importance on using seasonal and locally sourced materials wherever possible. Her simple goal is to create arrangements that are beautiful but which appear effortless - this is the ethos behind Foxgloves & Folly.
